THE Y2K FIASCO!

This whole Y2K scare was just that, a big scare. The ignorant masses and those who didn’t know enough to be scared, or care fueled the whole scare fire. The only thing that came true this new years day was a quote by ALEXANDER HAMILTON, probably one of my wife’s relatives. He said "the masses are asses" and he was correct I watched as the TIMES SQUARE ball of lights came down, half expecting the ball of lights to go out, but, as opposed to much of the media, I was very pleased to see that it didn’t go out. I think that some people were actually disappointed that we didn’t have electricity outages, and all the crap that was supposed to happen. I KNOW for certain all those who went broke purchasing gas generators, and enough non-perishables to last a year or two were very disappointed.

However, I’M not gonna write I toljaso. Because I really wasn’t sure if maybe what tons of people were saying wasn’t gonna somehow happen cause I don’t know maybe because a computer chip can’t make the jump between the year 200 and the year 1900, but, I DO know enough about computers to know that computer chips may not be able to distinguish between the year 2000 and the year 1900, but, I was fairly certain that computers weren’t going to blow up, or crash. The only problems I can see are going to be in the year 2001, or after. Because, it’s then when the computers will need to be able to know the difference between the year two thousand and the year nineteen hundred, but, I doubt there will be any problems then either. At least, not the sort that the media’s thinking we’ll have. However, I DO thank GOD we no problems. And y’all have to remember, if it weren’t for JESUS CHRIST’S birth there wouldn’t even be a year 2000. I mean HE’S the only measurement we have for time as we know it. Think about it, the world doesn’t measure it’s dates by the life of BUDDHA, or MUHAMED, or anyone, or anything else. Nuff typed !
