DOOM!

You know what? I don't ever remember reviewing DOOM or games like WOLFENSTEIN. So here's a review for you. Now I'M only going by what I can remember of some of the questions you've asked about the other games so if I don't cover all the aspects of the games, then send me an E-mail and ask further questions. This'll be a good test of my memory. Of course I'LL probably just confabulate if I can't remember:>)}}>.

Well, here goes; DOOM is an action game where there are lots of ALIENS and supposedly you, the player are on the moon at some kind of futuristic outpost in a multi leveled building with many caves and underground pools of water. The underground pools of water you can see and avoid unless an ALIEN MONSTER is attacking you. So when you fall in and invariably you do, you can swim ok, but, if you stay in too long you apparently drown. Which just means you start that particular game over again the whole time your on this base your apparently trying to pick up these particular colored keys which after you've come across them and picked them up, will open doors for you where you have more MONSTERS to fight. By fight I mean you in the game have weapons like shotguns, pistols and rifles think also a gas powered rail gun machine gun. If you finish each section of the game you can move on to the next section. I don't really think they' re called levels because any one level or whatever is no harder then the next just different fun that's all.

The game doesn't take any particular skill. For instance I only really have the use of my left hand and I'VE gotten pretty good with a TRACKBALL. Although in order to use certain weapons, because as you pick them up you apparently carry them around with you picking up ammo as you go. And the ammo is just laying around for you to pick up, but, sometimes if you want a certain type of ammo you have to bring out the weapon and fire off a round before you can pick it up. I found this out by TRIAL and error. Trial and error is the best way to figure this game out. You have to be a good loser if you want to figure this game out. Of course there does exist a CHEAT code if you so desire, which I didn't know about the first coupla times I played it. And the cheat code makes it too easy, so I tried to play it without using the cheat code, but, after I found out what it was if I was getting killed off too readily, I would use it, but, the manufacturer of the game claims there isn't a CHEAT CODE, but, there is I'M not going to tell what it is either I'D probably get sued or worse I'D probably have nightmares where I'M being chased by the MONSTERS in this game.

I have actually dreamed I was playing this game for real, where I WOULD SHOOT THE monsters and run by clenching my fists real tight, weird, real weird . Anyways the best thing about the game is I would say when you come upon these little smiley face looking things that give you invisibility to the MONSTERS invisibility to all the MONSTERS except the MONSTERS at the end of the game . Also when you pick up a colored key the key itself is beautiful, I don't know how to describe it, I guess it's like a glass colored thing. I guess you'll just have to play the game to find out what I'M talking about. So enjoy! Well, how's that for a game review. I'LL admit I probably didn't answer all of the questions you WOULD have asked so I just tried to explain what I could remember about the game.
